A pair of sterling silver vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) fixed bar cufflinks in the form of shotgun shell cartridges. These cufflinks were made for Hermès by a French jeweller (maker has not been identified), as was common at the time for both metal home goods, and jewellery. Each link features these makers marks along with the French metal control mark of the 'crab' for silver. The 'Hermès' retailer name is engraved along the bar on both cufflinks, along with 'Made in France'. The cufflinks come in the original Hermès cufflink box. Made in France. Circa 1970
